AT FFER IN LYON

It was fantastic to meet so many people involved in Assisted Reproductive Technology in Lyon, France when I visited the Federation Francaise d’etude de la Reproduction (FFER) as a guest of Laboratoires Genevrier.

I spoke at a seminar about the beginnings of IVF 40 years ago alongside Artificial Intelligence specialist Stéphane MALLARD, who talked about the future. I’m not sure how many people I had my photo taken with on the booth in the exhibition hall but it was great fun – as was a boat trip along the River Rhone.

For the umpteenth time this year a group of IVF specialists sang happy birthday to me, this time with the music supplied by a magnificent mechanical organ at tha amazing Abbaye de Collogne Restaurant, where the gala dinner was held.
